Meet the Coaches
National champions, All-Americans, and Hall of Famers: the staff leading Westlake lacrosse has played and coached at the highest levels of the game. Here's who's on the sideline for the Chaps.
- Member of the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame
- Played D1 lacrosse at Syracuse University: national champion, team captain, and 3x first-team All-American
- Named NCAA Midfielder of the Year
- 20+ years of experience coaching nationally
- Head coach at Maverik Showtime & Under Armour All American
- Principal figure in Texas recruiting over the past 12 years
- Five years playing D1 lacrosse at Rutgers University
- All–Big Ten honors in 2020; All-American honors in 2021 and 2022
- Team captain for the 2022–2023 season, selected by peers
- Helped lead Rutgers to two NCAA tournament appearances and the university's first NCAA final-four appearance
- 8+ years coaching various age groups in boys lacrosse, including Iron Horse Dallas & ADVNC ATX
- Coached for his alma mater, Dallas Jesuit, in the Class B division for the 2024 spring season
- Played D1 lacrosse at Jacksonville University ('21–'24, '26) and Sacred Heart University ('25)
- 2026 Iron Phin award: top JU student-athlete in strength & conditioning
- 2026 ASUN conference champion; 2025 MAAC All-Academic Team; 25 career starts
- Co-founded "Bridge the Game," an Austin lacrosse training organization
- 4 years of coaching experience with ADVNC ATX
- Graduate of Huntington High School, NY (Long Island), and led the Huntington Blue Devils to a section championship
- Played D1 lacrosse at Syracuse University as a defenseman: three straight national championship games, helping bring home the Orange's first NCAA title
- Former president of a New York youth lacrosse association, where he coached and directed all levels of boys' teams
- Coached at Iona Prep (Westchester, NY) since 2007: JV championships in 2010 & 2017, and varsity defensive coach since 2018 with 6 CHSAA state championships
- Emmy Award-winning producer, director & writer of "The Lost Trophy" & "Assault in the Ring"
- Inducted into the inaugural 2025 USA Lacrosse Texas Lacrosse Hall of Fame
- Texas High School Coach of the Year in 2017; South District Coach of the Year 3 times
- Two decades with The Woodlands lacrosse program: youth director, 7th/8th grade head coach, and high school varsity coach with five Texas D1 final fours (2013–2022), two state championship games (2015, 2018), and the Division 1 state championship in 2018
- Kinkaid School varsity assistant & middle school head coach 1997–2002; part of the 1997 Division 1 Texas high school state championship
- Lake Travis youth director & coach (2023–2025); coached AYL 5th grade team in spring 2026
- Part of the 1983 NJCAA national championship team at Nassau Community College
- Westlake alum: All-State honors junior and senior year at Westlake
- 4 years playing D3 lacrosse at Denison University
- Involved with Bridge the Game Lacrosse, an Austin lacrosse training organization
- Coached as an assistant at Westlake for the past 2 seasons
